Brooks Automation has a long history of developing semiconductor manufacturing hardware. In 1998 Brooks bought FASTech Integration, a semiconductor manufacturing software maker. Brooks then continued to evolve and integrate the FASTech product line. Dba Sessions Technical Services, developed training materials for the FASTech STATIONworks tool automation product line. Prior to that, employed as a Principal Technical Writer and Documentation Leader for first FASTech, then Brooks, from 1995 to 2000, Ruth developed documentation for three major product lines over 5 years, including FACTORYworks, CELLworks, and STATIONworks/Tool Object Model (TOM).
